Honeybee shares are a farm favorite. It works like this. You buy a package of bees for $250, I care for the bees, and we split the honey harvest. PLEASE BE AWARE bees are a high risk spend as hives often die over winter, abscond or succumb to disease.

We split honey across all the shares equally in the event one of the hives doesn't make it. So If I start with 8 hives and 2 die, all the shareholders split the honey from 6 hives. The good news is you get the honey as long as the hive survives so it can go for multiple years. I only have two shares available and may have more depending on how the bees do this winter.
